Thank you for the watch! And yes I take commissions. I'm currently finishing a fursuit head for someone right now, and should be finished soon. My commission info is here: [link]

My boyfriend and I often build suits together but the head I'm finishing is a lone project. Usually for partials and fursuit heads we work alone, but for fullsuits we like to build it together, especially to split up the work of sewing. ^_^

oh ok! I like those prices! DO you have any examples of a full, since it appears you have made one before!
And also, the idea of working together sounds very helpful, so the time to complete the fursuit should be quick then I suppose?

So far, we have only completed two fullbody suits, although a half-suit for a bat character is currently in progress and will be done quite soon. Here is my boyfriend's fullbody suit: [link]

He plans to renovate the suit to make it look more like a dragon, and has already purchased materials. I am also planning to make another fullbody suit in the near future of a fennec fox character, but we strive to put aside personal projects for commissions. The customer is always first. ^_^ Working together indeed makes the suit building process much faster. We can complete a full suit in a week or so if we worked on it every day.

nice suit he made! The only thing I would change is less bagginess, (hope I am not being rude!) And I would have digigrade. May I ask, do you cost extra for digigrade?

For a full suit we'd ask for an additional $50 for digigrade padding. That includes the cost of the foam. ^_^ The padding would be cut into a form that gives the cleanest digigrade look, and would be in velcro or zippered pouches (your choice) so that the foam can easily be removed from within the suit for washing purposes.

If it's not in the cards to buy one from a professional maker, the other option is always to try and make your own. It takes about a week to build a fullbody suit if you work on it for a few hours every day. So I learned by watching tutorials and fursuit builders livestreaming their work, and I learned the ways of the fursuit. :)

Neither did I when I started! :) You buy fur online and you get skills as you go. I went through 3 heads before I was satisfied with the head you see on that suit. I also didn't even know how to sew when I first started building the suit, but I learned loads. Now i know 4 different hand stitches and using a machine is quite easy now. It really helps to watch other fursuit builders stream their work and ask them questions. They're usually quite nice and you learn so much.

Well, you never know unless you save up and give it a try. :) A lot of fursuit makers sell their fur scraps in cheap bags so you could add them to your watch list and stay updated on when they're having a sale. And seriously, take as long as you want to make something you're happy about. Some people takes months or even a year to build their first fursuit because they were learning. I think anyone can do it as long as they stay patient and try. ^_^

I take payment plans so you don't have to put in all the money at once :) (Just FYI)
